On Windows, ConsoleOne does not use the main Java you have installed on yoru computer. Instead, ConsoleOne includes a full java runtime in its won directory structure and uses that one. So in order to make ConsoleOne use a newer java version, you have to replace the jre directory in the ConsoleOne directory structure.
