Who knew it was two lines in the CMake list? Not sure if this is a minGW problem, but if it is, I'd be willing to change to a different compiler if that's more standard. What's the main compiler other people use? It seems the issue was with mingw. I had no idea MinGW meant so many different things. I noticed that I had some thread errors. After some research, I found I was using mingw32, which at least a couple years ago didn't come with threads.
This is reflected in my CMake build where it says that pthead can't be found; it isn't there to find! If you can't change to MinGW-w64, ZCube's advice is indispensible, but it's not necessary and for some reason adds some warnings? I'm pretty sure this difference in installation is what made the difference, but I've only observed this on my own machine, so treat it as such! Skip to content. Star 5. New issue.

Having the same problem here with a fresh vcpkg installation using xwindows. JackBoosY reopened this Sep 8, It does. I am not sure why we keep having the same questions about reproduce it. The steps I posted can reproduce it, always. Always as it happens randomly, once it happened, that is it, it never works again.
I relatively strongly suggest some caching issues on the vcpkg or the cmake vcpkg tool chain. Redoing the setup, using the exact same steps, works again.
Same architecture, same environment, etc. Using the first one. No vcpkg. Correct me if I'm wrong JackBoosY closed this Nov 5, Aug 1, PM. Aug 1, PM in response to ae6rt In response to ae6rt. Aug 2, PM in response to ae6rt In response to ae6rt. Aug 2, PM.

Good day. I am new to XCode and the culture of Mac programming, though not to programming itself.
