I can find stuff about how to change "MIDI banks" but that just lets me get other "Windows defaults", and somehow when I did that on a track it changed my keyboard's input into a standard organ, but the MIDI item editor into drums from the VST?

I no longer have to use a virtualmachine to find and play midi files anymore. How exactly did you achieve this? I've never been able to get into the S-YXG50's code and play around with it like you did. Would it be possible to edit the S-YXG50 to exceed its default polyphony and perhaps make the default or above?
